Brath is tormented by visions of the God of Stags. What do these dreams mean and how will they aid him in the coming war with the numberless legions of a pitiless empire? Drusus is visited by his brother in a horrifying vision. The armies of the Outlanders march in force on Ureland. Brath struggles to bring the clans under one banner to face them.
